With
the SAISA swim competition only a week away, training has been really intense
lately. 4 trainings per week every week, for 10 weeks certainily isnt a light
work load. To top the crazy work load, im asthmatic. A sillly one too. I mean I
struggle enough breathing on land and yet I’ve signed myself up for a sport
where you spend the good part underwater. So ive certainy had some struggles
with that. It’s made the trainings really hard- and has most definitley
required perseverance and commitment. Swimming has been really demanding both
physically and menatlly in this regard. I’m really excited to go away for
competition next week, my times have improved dramatically over the season,
some by almost 10 seconds!
